SDU assembly: response to a pressing load
The September 2023 study evaluated stress and displacement under a specified pressing load applied to an SDU assembly. Spinula prepared a static finite element model with defined material properties and fixed support conditions.
What the results mean
The report documented stress, displacement and a factor-of-safety assessment for the defined model. It also identified a separate process question: whether the calculated displacement was acceptable for the application. The findings apply to the documented model and load case.
A separate pallet study in 2026
In January 2026, Spinula delivered a pallet FEA package to KUKA Assembly and Test. The package included a presentation with selected result images and a detailed software-generated report.
- Static structural model with defined materials, loads and fixed supports.
- Stress, displacement and factor-of-safety outputs.
- Selected visual results for review alongside the detailed analysis record.
The pallet analysis was a separate engagement from the 2023 SDU assembly study.
A report that supports a decision
Both studies connect the numerical results to a defined engineering question. A similar engagement starts by agreeing on loading conditions, the design revision and the criteria that matter to your process.
